Product Description and Intended Use:
Mar-Proof 680 Lacquers Sealers and Finishes are high solid, nitrocellulose lacquers that have high film build with excellent flowing qualities. These products are uniquely formulated to require minimal sanding sealer and less sanding between coats. These Lacquer Sealer/Finish Systems when used in tandem with Simpson Coatings Stains, provides a top-line heat/mar resistant finish system that is impervious to water, detergent, alcohol and is resistant to common food stain substances such as mustard and catsup. Mar-Proof 680 Lacquer Sealer and Finishes are designed to be used for professional application over fine furniture, kitchen and bathroom cabinetry, wood paneling, interior wood fixtures such as stair rails and spindles, fashionable wood moldings and accents that requires a high durable mar/impact resistant finish.

Mar-Proof 680 Precatalyzed Clear Lacquers are extremely durable single component self-sealing, modified nitrocellulose finishes that meet or exceed the rigid performance standards of the National Kitchen Cabinet Association (N.K.C.A.). Using these lacquer products in tandem with Simpson Coatings non-stearate Clear Vinyl Sealer #103-881, clearly provides the ultimate moisture resistant wood finishing systems that have been specifically designed with an exceptional level of endurance and resistance to harsh chemicals/solvents, abrasion and alkali. Mar-Proof 680 Precatalyzed Clear Lacquers are formulated for use on all types of interior wood products such as kitchen cabinets, furniture, mill work doors, decorative molding and paneling or anywhere a hard abrasion and moisture resistant finish is desired.

These products are specifically formulated to produce a water white, excellent build, tough alcohol, scratch and mar resistant finish. Water White Lacquer Sealers and Finishes are excellent finishes designed for professional application on white or light color stained wood as well as deeptone stained wood substrates. The Contractors 680 Lacquer Sealer and Finishes are clear interior high solids lacquers formulated for the contractors economy. These Lacquer Sealer and Finishes are designed for professional application to open or closed grain interior finished wood surfaces, where multiple build coats may be applied rapidly to obtain a solid, tough, yet decorative finish. The Contractors 680 Lacquer Finishes are recommended for cabinets, doors, woodwork, virtually any finishing hard woods such as birch or ash, as well as soft woods like pine or fir.

Pigmented Lacquers are premium quality, high hiding, pigmented nitrocellulose finishes that dry rapidly, creating a tough, mar resistant finish with excellent color and gloss retention. Designed for professional spray application, pigmented lacquers have excellent build and adhesion to interior wood. They are highly recommended for finishing wood/furniture, cabinets and paneling, doors, and ornamental woodwork. Pigmented Lacquers are available in two colors, black and a white that is suitable for tinting light pastel colors with up to 6 ounces of colorant, in four different gloss finishes.

Product Description and Intended Use:
High Solids Alkyd Lacquer Sealers/Finishes are designed for professional application utilizing either conventional or airless spray equipment with line heaters. These products are formulated with extremely high solids contents for an exceedingly high build finish that is "least susceptible" to blushing, alcohol/heat resistant, strong water resistance and is highly recommended for use in coastal or high humidity environments. High Solids Alkyd Lacquers are used over interior wood substrates such as cabinets, paneling, doors where a higher, tougher build finish is needed.

Note: High Solids Alkyd Lacquers are extremely amber in tone and can darken wood tone and stains considerably. Close scrutiny in stain color selection should be taken when using High Solids Alkyd Lacquers. These Sealers/Finishes are not recommended for use over white, light colored wood stains, or light raw woods.
