Product Description and Intended Use:
Mar-Proof 275 Lacquer Sealers and Finishes are high solid, nitrocellulose lacquers that have high film build with excellent flowing qualities. These products are uniquely formulated to require minimal sanding sealer and less sanding in between coats. These Lacquer Sealer/Finish Systems, when used in tandem with Simpson Coatings Stains provide a top line heat/mar resistant finish system that is impervious to water, detergent, alcohol and is resistant to common food stain substances such as mustard and catsup. Mar-Proof 275 Lacquer Sealer and Finishes are designed to be used for professional application over fine furniture, kitchen and bathroom cabinetry, wood paneling, interior wood doors and trim, or any decorative interior wood fixture such as stair rails and spindles, fashionable wood molding and accents that requires a high durable mar/impact resistant finish. Mar-Proof is available in a sanding sealer and four different gloss finishes.

Product Description and Intended Use:
The Contractors 275 Lacquer Sanding Sealer and Finishes are clear interior high solids lacquers formulated for the Contractors economy. These Lacquer Sealers and Finishes are designed for professional application to open or closed grain interior finished wood surfaces where multiple build coats may be applied rapidly to obtain a solid, tough, yet decorative finish. The Contractors 275 Lacquer Finishes are recommended for cabinets, doors, woodwork, virtually and finishing hard woods such as birch or ash, as well as soft woods like pine or fir. Contractors Lacquers are available in a sanding sealer and four different gloss finishes.

275 Pigmented Lacquers are premium quality, high hiding, pigmented nitrocellulose lacquer finishes that have been specifically formulated to meet the newly adopted 275 V.O.C. Air Quality Rules/Regulated requirements for Architectural/Wood Coatings. These rapidly drying lacquer finishes are designed for the professional/commercial wood coatings applicators that require the finish to be tough, mar resistant with excellent color and gloss retention. Designed for professional spray application, 275 Pigmented Lacquers have excellent build and adhesion qualities for a variety of interior wood substrates. They are highly recommended for finishing wood furniture, cabinets, paneling, doors/trim, decorative molding and musical instruments. The 275 Pigmented Lacquers are available in two ready-mixed colors, white and black in four different gloss finishes. In addition, Simpson Coatings features three pigmented tint bases in four different gloss finishes, i.e., 275 white and pastel tint base, for tinting pastel colors, using up to 4 ounces of colorant per gallon, 275 Pigmented Deeptone Base for tinting midtone deep colors, using up to 8 ounces of colorant per gallon and 275 pigmented masstone base for tinting ultra deep colors, using up to 16 ounces of colorant per gallon.

For best results in gloss/color retention, tint control, the Chroma-Chem 844 Industrial Colorant System or an equivalent Non-Aqueous Industrial Tint System should be used when tinting Simpson Coatings 275 Pigmented Lacquer Tint Bases.

Water White Lacquer Sealer and Finishes are premium quality alkyd modified nitrocellulose lacquers that are completely clear (no amber tone). These products are specifically formulated to produce a water white, excellent build, tough alcohol, scratch and mar resistant finish. Water White Lacquer Sealers and Finishes are excellent finishes designed for professional application on white or light color stained wood as well as deeptone stained wood substrates. Using Water White Lacquer Sealer/Finishes in tandem with Simpson Coatings Lacquer Stains/Woodtone Sealer have become the utmost Lacquer Finishing System over high grade cabinet work, table tops, antique/replica and fine furniture, store and office fixtures, musical instruments, or for protecting and enhancing bronze, brass and other decorative metal artifacts. 275 Water White Premium Precatalyzed Lacquers are extremely durable single component self-sealing, modified nitrocellulose finishes that meet or exceed the rigid performance standards of the National Kitchen Cabinet Association (N.K.C.A.). They are specifically formulated to meet the requirements of the Architectural/Wood Product Coating Rules/Regulations and V.O.C. Emission Schedules in various marketed Air Quality Districts. Using these lacquer products in tandem with Simpson Coatings Non-Stearated Clear Vinyl Sanding Sealer #275-440, clearly provide the ultimate moisture resistant wood finishing system that has true "Water White" color clarity (non amber tone), with an exceptional level of resistance to harsh chemicals/solvents, abrasion and alkali. 275 Water White Premium Precatalyzed Lacquers are formulated for use on all types of interior wood products such as, kitchen cabinets, furniture, millwork, doors, decorative trim/molding and paneling or anywhere a hard abrasion and moisture finish is desired. 275 Water White Premium Precatalyzed Lacquers are available in five gloss finishes.
